Undersecretary Riveros meets with Ambassadors of the Arab Group and the Organization for Islamic Cooperation
Undersecretary Edgardo Riveros received the Ambassadors accredited to Chile from the countries of the Arab Group and the Organization for Islamic Cooperation, who referred to the reopening of the tenth emergency special session of the United Nations General Assembly on the situation in East Jerusalem at United Nations headquarters in New York.
During the meeting, the Undersecretary reiterated what has been Chile's permanent position on the matter, and which was expressed in the statement of December 6 of this Ministry, with full respect for international law and the relevant United Nations resolutions on Jerusalem. Chile reiterates its support for the two-State solution, Israel and Palestine, which can live in peace and security.
